PCB aimed for PSL 2025 between 7th April to 20th May. It might get postponed due to the busy schedule of the upcoming 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be hosted by PCB, Pakistan Cricket Board.

PSL 2025 Teams and probable date

Pakistan Super League, PSL 2025 will take place between April and May window, though it’s not confirmed. It will be their 10th edition, but they have to move due to the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy this year, so keep it in mind they have to reschedule the upcoming PSL matches. If PCB does that there might be a high chance to Clahs with next year’s IPL 2025. It looks tough to manage all these things at a time.

The PCB & PSL franchise owners are left with no other option for. Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi might host the matches with each side playing at least the first five matches. It will be difficult for The PCB to explore additional venues. From rumors it’s coming there might be some additional changes for excitement and more entertainment.

How many teams will be there in PSL 2025?

PSL might have six teams like the 9th edition but, from 2026 there will be two new teams in the Tournament, PCB confirms that. 

Teams- Islamabad United, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators.

The qualification format will remain the same like the 9th edition might be changed after 2025 PSL.

Is PSL set to go head-to-head with IPL in 2025?
