Big Bash League: Cricket Australia released full squads so far for BBL|14

Big Bash League is all set for its 14th edition. New squads with new coaches are contracted for the BBL|14.

Jason Gillespie is no longer the head coach for Adelaide Strikers, looking for a new coach. Jason Gillespie will be seen in a new role for Pakistan’s test side.

Jordan Buckingham will be a new member of Adelaide Strikers in BBL|14. This right-arm pacer previously played for Brisbane Heat and South Australia.

Big names like Travis Head, Alex Carry, and Chris Lynn are out of contract. Lynn holds the record for most runs in the history of the Big Bash League.

They have added Alex Ross who was out of contract at the Thunder. 

Cameron Boyce has been rewarded with two years extension of contract with Strikers, for leading the Strikers in the second half of the last season with 14 wickets hall.

The former South African all-rounder Johan Botha has been appointed as the head coach for the Brisbane Heat and Queensland cricket team for the next three years. Botha comes with huge experience as a coach, as he has previously coached for the Islamabad United and Karachi Kings in PSL.

Marnus Labuschagne remains out of contract. Apart from this Sam Billings will be part of Thunder in BBL|14.

Cameron White will lead the Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash League, 14. Cameron White signed a three-year deal in place of  David Saker as a head coach. Despite being disappointed last season by the Renegades as they finished at the bottom of the table, David was replaced by White. Melbourne expected a new era in the Big Bash League from Cameron White.

Former Australian Captain Aaron Finish announced his retirement from all formats along with Shaun Marsh will not be playing anymore in the upcoming season of the Big Bash League.

Peter Moores reflects on the head coach for Melbourne Stars. It will be Peter’s first session as the Head Coach in the Big Bash League. Peter was successful for Nottinghamshire as the head coach.

Maxwell gave up on captaincy for Melbourne Stars. Marcus Stoinis will take charge of the Stars in the upcoming Big Bash League season.

Former Australian Pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile remains out of contract for this 14th edition of the Big Bash League.

The Skipper Ashton Turner who missed BBL | 13 due to a knee injury, probably he will return to action for the 14th edition of the Big Bash League.

Sydney Sixers is one of the most successful teams in the Big Bash League history, won three-time trophy (BBL- 1, BBL-9, BBL-10).

Greg Shipperd has been the Head Coach for the Sixers from year 2015, and Sydney Sixers confirmed that Greg will continue with his service.

Steve O’Keefe announced his retirement from all formats of cricket.

Australia’s best batsman in Test Cricket Steve Smith has no contract. Apart from this Smith was not fit due to his slow strike rate in the Australian team for the T20 World Cup.

Trevor Bayliss will continue as the Head Coach for Sydney Sixers. Previously Bayliss did coaching in IPL for most popular franchises and previously he was the former coach for England International Cricket team.

Despite being explosive performance by David Warner in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.He’ll no doubt be keen to re-sign Aussie great.

In the last session was the worst season for Sydney Thunder. In the Big Bash League 13th edition was finished in no. 7 in the points table.
