Afghanistan vs Uganda:Fazalhaq farooqi’s five-wicket haul
Fazalhaq was impressive against Uganda, Destroying Uganda’s batsmen one by one, with no mercy. Uganda’s captain was right on the toss as this is a slow surface for batting, but he said it for themselves only.
Uganda couldn’t do too much with bowl and bat, was seemed helpless in front of over-power Afghanistan.
Fazalhaq Farooqi took five-wicket and became the first bowler to take five wickets in the ICC T20 World Cup, 2024.

Afghanistan vs Uganda What are the Positives and Negatives?
We witness a one-sided match between Afghanistan and Uganda, in Providence Stadium, Guyana. Afghana bowlers have brutally thrashed Uganda’s batting line-up as they bowled out just for 58 runs in 16 overs. This is one of the lowest -scores in the T20 World Cup history ever.
After winning the toss Uganada could go for batting but they went for the ball. Apart from this poor bowling, poor fielding broke their confidence already to win this match. Though they took wickets in the end that was too late, destruction was already done by the Afghan Openers.
Only two batsmen from Uganda crossed over 10 runs, maximums went for single digits. Four batsmen out for a duck.
Afghanistan did well with bat and bowl, but no need to get overconfident because in Group they have to face West Indies in their home condition and New Zealand will not be easy like this match.
Though Afghanistan’s openers did well the middle order struggled against the same bowling attack after the dismissal of openers, not a single batsman could play with that approach.
Afghanistan could cross 200+ but their middle order failed to do that, failed to finish well. they have to be careful for the upcoming matches.
