In an Indian Super League game on Saturday in Bhubaneswar, Diego Mauricio and Mourtada Fall’s goals helped Odisha FC upset Jamshedpur FC 2-1. Fall was also responsible for an own goal, which was just a small comfort to the guests. Khalid Jamil’s team had a better start even though Sergio Lobera’s team had the lead before halftime.
Jamshedpur FC had a chance to take the lead in the fifth minute when Stephen Eze mishandled a free kick from the middle of the park that landed to Javi Hernandez, who then passed it to Pratik Chaudhari. Amrinder Singh, though, stopped the latter’s shot.
In the tenth minute, Odisha FC had their first opportunity. The tie was broken in the twentieth minute by Odisha FC. With a brilliant dribbling move, Isak found Hugo Boumous inside the box.
Boumous found Mauricio, whose shot went in under Stephen Eze’s little deflection and into the goal. Fall eventually provided Lobera’s side the comfort cushion in the 42nd minute. Fall headlong into the net as Boumous swung in a corner from the right.
The Senegalese defender scored his eighteenth goal in the ISL during this phase, all of which were from headers.

But his shot missed the mark, leaving Amrinder undisturbed. In the 54th minute, Odisha FC had another opportunity to increase their lead. Boumous dribbled around Pratik and found Mauricio on the left with the ball.
Albino Gomes stopped the Brazilian’s cross attempt into the area, but Amey Ranawade was left with the rebound at his feet.
Once again, Ranawade was unlucky as Aniket Jadhav parried his shot.
Fall’s misjudged header into his own net in the 62nd minute gave Jamshedpur FC their first point back.
